:no: 27 schnauzers were seized from an Iowa Park puppy mill..

i know this shot looks scary.. but i assure you, those are some of the most loving hands that could ever touch an animal :love:

:( these dogs were in horrible condition.
this was dog number 9 to be tested
Out of those 9,
7 tested positive for heart worms.
5 were positive for ehrlicia (tick fever)
3 of them showed signs of a severe ear infections

most of the dogs were female and about half were pregnant..

the dogs that made it are with foster homes.. rehabilitating :D

this pup is doing a lot better..
i should be getting more shots soon

remember to volunteer/donate/adopt from your local shelter :)

humane society will cheer ya up ;)

I'm happy that some were able to get out okay...

So unfortunate for others. But some were saved.

Puppy mills..... like an illegal breeding place?

Man sometimes I think about forming the Militant wing of PETA... the MORE militant one...

If they're going to keep puppy mills around, then shouldn't they have some standards put in place to make sure the dogs are kept in good conditition? Otherwise, why not just shut them all down?

I've been to a puppy mill in Quebec before, it was depressing. All of the dogs were kept in these little mesh cages, like in factory arms. If that's how they're all going to be, then es, shut 'em down.
