Ever see Black Hawk Down :?

Today i got to meet the guy the movie was based on :D

this is a shot of a soldier getting his autograph

This morning Wichita Falls got a taste of Hollywood mixed with real world. In the movie "Black Hawk Down," Sergeant Matt Eversmann is portrayed by actor Josh Hartnett. And today, Eversmann spoke at the 8th annual Leadership Breakfast. Eversmann told of his days as an army ranger ... of going into Somalia on a helicopter during an especially dangerous mission. One of Eversmann's men fell 60 feet from the helicopter and had serious injuries. They were under attack from all directions. Then they found out that a Black Hawk crashed … and a short time later, another helicopter went down. Eversmann says his crew displayed leadership at all levels -- and he gives credit to a team of snipers who were killed holding off the enemy. “We all have it in us,” Eversmann said. “I am one hundred percent convinced. We just need to find that right core – but certainly if I could have any success, anybody else could, too. I mean, I’m a college dropout.” Eversmann wants people to remember three core values: selfless service, personal and moral courage, and commitment.
